Sunday 6th April 2014
Our monthly wildlife watch is here, as promised.
Take a look at what new species our woodland wardens have spotted in the month of March.
Tortoise shell butterfly
Red admiral butterfly
Brimstone butterfly (not usually seen in the North West of England)
In addition, we have spotted some happy little mating frogs.
The wardens are also currently landscaping and are introducing many different varieties of native plants, shrubs and trees as well as wildflowers.
