GREENACRES SUPERHEROS RAISE £828.00 FOR WILLOWBROOK HOSPICE
On the 13th of September the team at GreenAcres Woodland Burials took part in a fundraising walk for Willowbrook hospice, dressed as superheroes Keely Thompson, Marketing, Community & Funeral Director Liaison, Richard Cullen, Woodland Warden and Thomas Cowley, Woodland Supervisor, donned their superhero’s outfits all in aid of a good cause.
In addition; Keely’s son Logan Thompson age 6, Richard Cullen’s wife Annie and Thomas Cowley’s partner Kirsty Twin, kindly joined forces with the GreenAcres team for the day.
The team raised £414 which has been kindly match-funded by GreenAcres bringing the total to £828.00, the money will go towards supporting the palliative care centre based in Merseyside.
Statement from Keely Thompson; ‘It is such a privilege to be part of a company that offers match-funding, it makes such a difference to the fundraising that we carry out. Willowbrook Hospice are such a valuable asset to the local community, every penny they receive is greatly appreciated.’
