So Mother’s Day to most of us is about cards and presents flowers and meals out. But for some that’s not the case. As you may already know, on Sunday we opened our doors to those that have lost their mum’s and want a place to go and remember, and what an turnout it was. The hall was filled with people listening to the heavenly voice of Lauren Waterworth singing. The wonderful Darren Anders lead the service and our very own Keely got up to say a few words about loss and thanked the team at GreenAcres along with Garvey and Young and Bill at Haydock Funeral Services who kindly gave his time to support the event. We would like to say a huge thank you to all who came along and donated money on the day. All the proceeds will be going to Harmony Counselling who help bereaved people get through the tough times. We can’t that you all enough for supporting the park and in turn we are here to support you.
