Staff from GreenAcres Woodland Burials – Colney were pleased to be invited to visit the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind this week to find out how money raised from last month’s concert with The Cringleford Singers would be spent.
Donna Minto, Fundraising Manager at the NNAB, gave a tour of the facilities and talked through the essential services that the NNAB provides for blind and visually impaired people in Norwich and Norfolk. From equipment, such as gadgets that help maintain independence in the home, to leisure activities, arts and crafts groups, on-site residential homes and sheltered housing and community services, the range of facilities and services offered by the NNAB is huge.
The NNAB have been caring for blind and visually impaired people in Norfolk and Norwich for over 200 years and GreenAcres Woodland Burials – Colney is delighted that we have been able to support this wonderful, local charity in a small way. Thank you to everyone involved in making the recent concert such a success ensuring we raised £800 for the NNAB.
