After several requests from families, GreenAcres Woodland Burial – Chiltern have now opened up a special area in the woodland cemetery where people who wish to bury their pet’s ashes can do so in the peaceful and tranquil environment of the woodland.
Saying goodbye to a cherished pet is not something anyone looks forward to but when the time comes it’s good to know that you can say goodbye in the landscape of beautiful English woodland.
GreenAcres Woodland Burials – Chiltern, is part of a wider group of privately run woodland cemeteries, and is set in over 72 acres of beautiful English woodland. Our woodland burial park has been helping local families celebrate the life of a loved one with respect, empathy and choice for over 5 years.
A certificate will be produced to mark the date and the location, and people are also invited to make an entry in the Pets Book of Memories.
“We have made the process very straightforward” says Kate Harris, Park Manager. “You simply come and chose the section of the pets-only area, the date you would like and pay for the area to be prepared properly for your pet’s ashes. On the day of the ashes burial, one of our staff will always be on hand if you have any questions. You can say goodbye to your beloved pet at the graveside or even hire the Woodland Hall for a special pets service if you choose to. GreenAcres Woodland Burials – Chiltern is located within easy reach of Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield, and the M40 and M25.
