‘GreenAcres is an attractive and peaceful location that eptomises the ethics of the Green Flag status.’ Green Flag judge
GreenAcres – Colney has been named as one of the very best in the UK – and that’s official!
137 parks and green spaces across the East of England are proudly flying a green flag Award, after being judged to be some of the best in the country. A record-breaking 1,582 cemeteries, universities, shopping centres and community gardens in the UK have met the high standard needed to receive the Green Flag Award in what is another record-breaking year for the Award scheme,
This Award recognises and highlights that people in Norfolk are benefiting from a green space of the very highest quality and although our main focus is on providing a final resting place that offers beauty and tranquillity in native meadow and woodland, this award proves that we are very much a place for everyone to visit and enjoy.
A Green Flag flying overhead is a sign to visitors that the park boasts the highest possible standards, is beautifully maintained and has excellent facilities.
Why not visit and judge for yourself.
