We have some exciting new developments for February, our woodland wardens Richard Cullen and Richard Lester have made a list of all the wildlife activity that they have spotted, and in addition have noted some beautiful new plants that have sprung up throughout the park.
Please take a look at what we have found, if you would like a tour of the woodland with our wardens simply visit the park during opening hours throughout the week and they will be more than happy to help.
buzzard, sparrow hawk, kestrel, raven, carrion crow, jackdaw, jay, nuthatch, tree creeper, pied wagtail, grey wagtail, wren, blackbird, song thrush, robin, tree sparrow, brambling, starling, blue tit, coal tit, great tit, long tail tit, collared dove, wood pigeon, great spotted woodpecker, gold crest, mallard, pheasant, starling, rabbits, stoat, grey squirrel and frogs mating / frog spawn.

Bluebell watch has begun and we are pleased to announce that our bluebell shoots have started to appear, we have added a collection of images in the news section of the website and will be posting more next week.
