Centaury (Centaurium erythraea)
Unlike many of the wildflowers we have seen over the last few weeks Centaury only grows to around 20 inches and has a small group of petite pink and yellow flowers. These flowers last from June until September so there is still plenty of time to enjoy them, if you can find them! You can spot them on ride edges and in the wildflower meadow in front of our hall.

Fun fact; In the language of the plants Centaury represents delicacy. Century is also used to make a tea which was used to help with a number of gastronomic and liver complaints.
