Wednesday 20th May 2015
GreenAcres – Rainford are part of the Merseyside Bereavement Advisory Group, a partnership of statutory and voluntary agencies brought together through Child Bereavement UK’s regional development project.
On the 18th of May a seminar was held by the Advisory Group at GreenAcres – Rainford, the premise of this was to highlight the advantages of bereavement education and support in the public and private sectors through collaborative working.
Delegates across a wide range of professions had the opportunity to find out more about services available in their area and heard from Andre Rebello – Lead Coroner for Liverpool and Wirral, about his role and hope for the future of bereavement care in the UK.
A marquee was kindly supplied by sponsor A-Z Marquee Hire in Rainford in aid of ‘Dying Matters’ week which housed a number of organisations and charities from within the bereavement sector.
