Sunday 2nd November 2014
On Saturday the first of November GreenAcres Rainford opened it’s new orchard area to the public,
This would not have been possible without the hard work of the woodland team, who have planted over fifty different varieties of fruit trees. A big thank you to Thomas Cowley, Richard Cullen & Richard Lester.
The woodland team have worked extremely hard over the past few months and it shows, the park is looking stunning, the new autumn colours make it a lovely place to stop off for a walk and a warm drink.
I myself was proud to be part of the planting, (even if I only did plant the one), I will look on fondly as my Stella cherry tree grows in full view of the stunning scenery, and will look forward to showing her off to all who wish to see her.
Come along and we will make you a warm drink and take you up to see our beautiful new orchard..
