GreenAcres Woodland Burials is proud to support their local Trussell Trust Foodbanks and continues to collect food donations at each of their parks. At the beginning of this year each park set a target to donate 2,013 items of food, going on to support local people in crisis. Today’s report on the BBC highlights just how vital the work of Foodbanks across the country is.
As the weather gets colder and heating bills increase these Foodbanks will be a real support to those that can’t make ends meet this winter. If you feel you are able to help by donating items these can be deposited in our Foodbank baskets, located in the reception areas at each park. Simply call in and drop off your food donations. Across all of our parks a 1,000 items have been donated so far.
