Park Manager (Epping)

Salary: £32k OTE £40k
Hours: 37.5hrs per week, over a flexible working contract (includes weekends)

Location: This role is based at GreenAcres Epping Forest, Kiln Road, North Weald, Epping, Essex CM16 6AD.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to manage our Epping Cemetery.  The successful candidate must display our key values and behaviours with families at the heart of everything we do.  This role is predominantly office/admin based, so strong computer skills is essential.  The ideal candidate will have worked in a customer facing, KPI based environment and possess excellent people management skills.

As a Park Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Park and all its operations by providing an efficient and supportive environment for the team, delivering excellent customer service and the company aftercare policy. 

Skills and qualifications

To be part of a successful team in this varied role, you’ll need to have: 

  • The highest standard of customer care and the ability to find ways to improve a customer’s experience
  • The ability to manage and motivate the team and ensure colleague welfare 
  • Conduct annual appraisals and the setting of SMART objectives and targets for the business 
  • Responsible for recruitment and retention of quality employees
  • A proven track record of training, developing and coaching employees as part of their succession planning
  • Achieve sales targets through effective solving of customer’s needs. 
  • Develop, set and deliver robust Park action plans to deliver the budget for the Park
  • Support the continuous development of new products and services for the Park
  • Manage all costs in line with the budget and drive efficiencies within the operational areas to meet targets
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are implemented to the company WOW (way of working) Standards for Maintenance  
  • Ensure all grounds maintenance tasks are adhered to
  • The ability to ensure the business is compliant/meeting all internal operational processes and external laws/industry regulations 
  • Review and set clear forecasts for all Park functions
  • Ensuring all company procedures regarding H&S, security and the welfare for others are maintained at all times
