Saturday 8th August 2015, 10am - 4pm
GreenAcres Woodland Burials – Epping Forest is holding a free event for all the family on Saturday 8th August. The Working Woodland Day is an annual event taking place between 10am-4pm, hosting a huge variety of woodland activities and entertainment for all ages.
Throughout the day activities include heavy working horses, archery, chainsaw carvings, birds of prey, ferret roulette, yoga, face painting, wood turning, tree felling and much more.
There will be local groups and organisations support the event, helping us to make it a great day out for all those that attend.
We have a raffle stall, giving you the chance to win an iPad mini, with all proceeds from this and donation buckets being match-funded by GreenAcres and the total amount split amongst our chosen charities. This year we are supporting Haven House Children’s Hospice and Trees for Cities.
Why not come along and make the most of the beautiful woodland setting, where you can learn more about how the woodland manages its habitats, trees, flowers and the wildlife that call the park their home.
