Come and join us at Rainford this Easter, we will be taking children on a journey through the woods stopping at the designated ‘baby chick stops’ for a mini talk on all the wonderful plants and wildlife we have in our woodland. Children will also have the opportunity to use their investigation skills, by looking at insects through their woodland explorer magnifying glasses (provided by the park). We will also be holding a competition for the best Easter bunny picture, providing paper and colouring crayons for all budding artists.
In addition, on completion of the woodland trail, children will be awarded a ‘woodland explorer badge’ and a tasy treat for their participation.
The winner of the colouring competition will be contacted following the event.
We look forward to seeing you all, don’t be late as the woodland nature trail starts at 11:15am
Also please be advised, if we have high attendance for this event, the groups will be spilt into two and the first group will go into the woodland with the second group staying behind to do the colouring activities first. Please note all children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
